Fresh Milk & Cream
We source our dairies super fresh from a wonderful local farm, Burley Meadows Farm, in Duffield. Here the Foster family has farmed for over 60 years.
Cocoa
After testing our recipes with a number of different cocoas, we finally found an exquisite Fair Trade certified cocoa grown by small farmers in the Dominican Republic, on the Caribbean island of Hispaniola.
Strawberries
Anthony and Christine run a family business on 450 acres of beautiful South Herefordshire countryside. These strawberries are hand-picked at optimum maturity in the height of the season when the flavour is at its best.
Pistachio & Nut Pastes
After several tests with different suppliers, we decided to source our nut pastes directly from Italy. They are made with 100% nuts by a small, family-run producer in Sicily. They have been trading since the 1930s!
Coffee
Our coffee is Fair Trade certified and is a blend of high quality organic Peruvian arabica and Indian robusta. They are importend in the UK by a workers’ co-operative established in 1979 by three aid volunteers returned from Africa.
Vanilla
For our gelato we use genuine gourmet-grade Madagascan vanilla pods. Left in infusion overnight, they provide an increadibly rich and creamy vanilla flavour.
